I am a teacher in Westminster and I am hoping to get a group of my coworkers out on an easy moving water trip (class 1 or just riffles) as close to the area as I can find.  Anyone have any suggestions?  We are probably not going to do this until the spring, but I hope to scout out options before that.  I live up in York and have only been on the gunpowder in MD.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge!   Cheesy

Ken- check out Antietam. I haven't paddled it, but I understand it is pretty easy and there was (still there?) an outfitter that rented rec boats to run it and shuttled you.

I think I am looking at patapsco from Woodstock to Daniels or monocacy from 77 to creagerstown park as possibilities.
