First off, many thanks to Jeff for calendaring and organizing this trip.  With temperatures in the forties, partly sunny sky, and no wind, we couldn't have asked for much better weather.  I did not personally eyeball the gauge, but believe I was told the level was 1.2, very nice.

I didn't get an exact headcount, but the trip was well attended.  I was joined by three other open boaters.  Whoa!  For a minute there I thought I was in a canoe club!  Around a dozen kayakers brought it back in focus, it was a GBCC trip after all.

I think I can say there was a historic first on this trip, and that would be the first time a boater both won the "first swim" award while shooting video of himself doing it!  Turns out Dave K. is a budding kayak-videographer, and his post to youtube tells more about the trip that I can.  So check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxW13s_0aE8

I had to delete the above linked video.  It was a quick upload with little attention paid to minor details.  This one will be my final online version.  It was a great little trip, I had a blast.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDaCa3L93mI - Trip recount is in info section

Great video.  Love the Patapsco one too, I see Chip's boat upside down going down Suicide, that looked cold.
