Holiday Party Saturday December 3, 2011

The annual GBCC Christmas Party will be held on Saturday December 4 from 7 - 11 pm  at the Knights of Columbus Hall (basement level),
1010 Frederick Road,
Catonsville 21228.

This is a potluck!  Bring a tasty food item to share.  The Club provides beer, wine and soda, the hall, plasticware, napkins, cups and plates, etc.   Typically, appetizers are available from 7 pm on, and dinner usually begins about 7:45 pm. 
There will be many door prizes for cool river related stuff.  We also usually have a series of "Dubious Distinction Awards", including Most Improved Paddler, Trip Leader of the Year, First Swim of the Year, Most Impressive Swim of the Year, etc.  Basically, if you can describe why your paddling buddy deserves an award for screwing up big time, you can nominate him/her.  Send nominations to John Kemper (Caveman).

The K of C is a big white house at 1010 Frederick Road, Catonsville, located about a mile west of the Beltway.  It is between the Post Office and the Library, on your right.  Plenty of parking around back.
