So...we cruise the internet several times a day, seeking out new information, reviews of boats, rivers gear. We check "Youtube" for new POV Steep Creek Videos. We drive our loved ones insane, to the point they start throwing our boating affection in our faces:"You love that &$^%*ng boat more than than you care about me!!!"

We scroll though USGS an American Whitewater, desparately searching for some river or stream that is "running". We will drive hours to run that river or stream, but will put off visiting family because it is "too far to drive to only spend one day".

We check out the latest gear, hoping to see that reference "it is reminiscient of the (insert your boat from two generations ago)."

We find ourselves trying to plan vacations where there is a classic run nearby that, even if we can't bring our boats, we just want a peek at Gorilla, only to be told," Florida can be so relaxing"

Or maybe it's just me...or maybe what I really want to know is, does this passion for the paddle ever wear off?

The passion for paddling usually doesn't, but you want the passion for buying new gear to stop Smiley

After a phenom of a paddling season last year, this year is starting WAY TOO DRY!!

Eric, I couldn't agree more...though I did manage to get a paddle in nearly every week this winter, the lack of snow has put a serious hurting on the levels everywhere. I am sure we are all worried about what is in store for this summer...I guess I can always scrape my way through, or get out the rec and do some flat  Undecided
