River Info - Upper Gunpowder
Gunpowder Gorge:
Alert: There are several large river wide trees as of 9/10/13. The trees are located in blind spots in double and triple drop. As a general policy, make sure you can see the rapids are clear or scout as necessary.
Directions:
From I-83:
Exit 27 for Mt. Carmel Rd, go west (away from York Rd.)
3rd Right onto Evna Rd.
End of Evna, R onto Falls Rd
Look for the second lot on the left side of the road.
There will usually be cars in it--the first lot you see is almost always empty.
Flow Info:
130 cfs or 2.1' for minimum in the Gunpowder Gorge. You get thru it lower, but it gets a little scrapey.
