The annual Yough Family Weekend is moving in quick! This family friendly trip is geared towards people of all skill levels coming together and spending a weekend enjoying nature in Confluence, PA. Registration link will be posted in the next couple days so keep an eye out and register early so we have a good headcount. For the paddlers there are three different river options available: Middle Yough (Class II), Lower Yough (Class III), and Upper Yough (Class IV+). For those looking for non-paddling activities there are hiking trails a’plenty around the Ohiopyle Area, the renowned Falling Waters mansion just up the road, a cute little town to wander through, and lots more.

The club has two large campsites reserved at the Outflow Camping Area in Confluence, PA for Friday and Saturday nights. People can start arriving and setting up their tents at 4:30pm Friday and don’t worry about space as there is plenty of it. Saturday night we have a large pavilion area reserved where dinner will be served and people can relax as the evening fades away. Three meals will be provided by the club: breakfast and dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday, so bring your appetites.

The campground has shower facilities a short distance from our sites for those interested in getting cleaned up Saturday night after the long day. For additional fun Saturday afternoon/evening, there is a large field right next to our campsites perfect for ultimate Frisbee, boomerang throwing, bagpipe playing, or whatever other activity you can think of (boomerangs and bagpipes not provided).
